The map above shows record coverage from the Hull City Nature Challenge 2025. This map only includes records that have reached research grade, and have been included in our reporting database. By moving through the carousel of images, you can see comparative maps from the same event in 2024 and 2023. In each subsequent year we have increased our total number of observations, number of species, and number of participants taking part in the event. Prior to the City Nature Challenge, record coverage in Hull was sparse - the event has not only encouraged people to engage with nature, but also increased our evidence base for decision-making in the Hull area.
