North & East Yorkshire Ecological Data Centre
NEYEDC Info
E-mail service down: 24/08/2010
We are currently experiencing problems with our email service. As of about 12pm on the 24th August 2010 we stopped receiving emails to all the neyedc.co.uk email addresses. We are working to resolve this issue and do not expect that the service will be down for long but in the meantime we have set up the following email address datasearches@neyedc.org.uk for any urgent business.
If you did send in a data search by email on or after 12pm on Tuesday please be aware we may not have received it so it would be advisable to resend it to the above address.
We apologise for any inconvenience and will update this message as soon as the service is restored.
NEYEDC encourages people to inform us of any sightings of wildlife within the North & East Yorkshire sub-regions. These can be of common or rare species, alive or dead. We are also interested in records of animal signs (such as footprints or droppings).
How can I submit species records?
-
online - YHEDN online recording application
The YHEDN online recording application allows you to record individual records, ticklists or import excel spreadsheets. For North or East Yorkshire, records submitted using this application will be sent to NEYEDC automatically.
This is the quickest and easiest way of sending records to us.
-
by email
Alternatively you can email the record to us and we will verify the records before entering it into our species database. We will contact you if we require any further information.
-
by mail - species recording form
You can also send records to us by downloading our species record form. Download the form using the link above, fill it in then send it back to us by email, fax or post, contact details can be found on the Contact us page of the website.
